On-board equipment: Hurst rescue system, which includes a 27A spreader unit, combi-tool, O cutter, 3 different power units, assorted rams and accessories, Res-Q-Jacks, 10 foot inflatable zodiac boat, with additional specialized equipment for: Firefighting, Hazmat, Vehicle Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, High Angle Rescue and Water Rescue. Its primary function is Rescue calls and Structure Fires.

This unit was designed and built specifically to deal with the types of calls and problems we respond to within Newport Township.
